New business development manager reinforces international ambition

First Impression audiovisual sets foot in Germany with appointment of Daniel Glück

Tilburg, 23 February 2023 – Dutch solutions integrator First Impression audiovisual has appointed Daniel Glück (50) as business development manager. In this role, Daniel will be responsible for all accounts in the DACH region with a focus on Germany. After the opening of the first international office in Paris, the opening of the German office is the next big step in the international expansion of First Impression.

Daniel is a true digital signage expert and comes from over 26 years of agency expertise in all digital sectors. He started his career implementing touchscreen solutions for DaimlerChrysler Aerospace. In the zeroes, Daniel made the switch to the automotive sector, where he worked for brands like Daimler Chrysler, BMW, AUDI, Jaguar Land Rover, Hyundai and other brands.

First Impression, named Integrator of the Year 2022 at the AV Awards, opened its third office in Paris in 2022, next to Amsterdam and the HQ in Tilburg. Next up is the expansion to Germany. With the recent appointment of Daniel Glück as new business manager Germany, this expansion got a great boost already, with a digital signage assignment for KIA Germany.

For KIA, First Impression implemented a showroom experience in KIA’s City store in Berlin. This year similar solutions will be rolled out to 400 retail and service locations of KIA in Germany.

First Impression wins Integrator of the Year award at annual AV Awards

First Impression, expert in audiovisual experiences, has been named Integrator of the Year at the AV Awards in London. This international award is presented to companies who deliver and maintain audiovisual projects. As an integrator, First Impression supports their client’s brand storytelling and powers the end customer journey by delivering strategic support, from concepting and installation of audiovisual projects, to service. First Impression received the award for its innovative vision on how experiences should be executed and built. The jury also praised First Impression for the strong corporate culture.

In addition to the Integrator of the Year category, First Impression was also nominated in the Best Venue Project of the Year category for the entire audiovisual installation at Our House, world’s first experience museum for electronic dance music in Amsterdam. For the Digital Experience Center of Siemens in The Hague, First Impression was nominated in the category Best Corporate Project of the Year.

Expert in audiovisual experiences takes important step in international strategy

First Impression audiovisual opens first foreign office in Paris

Amsterdam, September 27, 2022 – First Impression has opened its first foreign office in France. Next to the offices in Amsterdam and Tilburg, this is the third location for the expert in audiovisual experiences. The new office is located in Issy-Les-Moulineaux, a commune on the outskirts of Paris known as the capital of media and digital technology. This step has been taken to be able to serve the increasing number of customers in the French region. First Impression already has fitness chain Basic-Fit, cosmetics company Rituals and hearing care professional Sonova in its customer portfolio in France.

As a strategic partner, First Impression provides all audiovisual technology, including content creation at all Basic-Fit locations in Europe. This year the fitness chain opened its 600th French club, making France the country with the most Basic-Fit clubs by far. For luxury brand Rituals, First Impression is the strategic audiovisual partner for 95 stores in France as part of its worldwide rollout of audiovisual solutions.

The Paris office will be led by Frenchman Julien Minier, who has been working for First Impression since 2021. Julien has over fifteen years of experience in the AV industry. He worked for several international luxury and automotive brands.
