iMin attended GITEX 2022 as an exhibitor!
From the 10th – 14th of October, iMin visited Dubai to network with locals and exchange insights about the POS industry. This is the first time iMin has attended an exhibition after launching our three newest products – the Swift 1Mobile POS, Swan 1 Desktop POS, Swan 1k Kitchen Display System and Falcon 1 Tablet POS.
In the MENA market, consumers were still relying heavily on cash, with over two thirds of retail transactions being conducted with cash – a clear sign of under developed digital-payment infrastructure. However, in recent years, there was an observed increase in digital transactions in various markets. Card payments in Saudi Arabia saw a 70% increase between the start of 2019 and 2022, with consumers possibly expressing their changing preferences over to digital payments.
MENA entrepreneurs must be prepared for this shift in order to accomodate their customers’ pereferences. By 2028, the MENA POS software market is expected to account for almost USD 400 million. iMin wishes to help our partners make a difference in the lives of MENA merchants. We believe in the importance of educating locals about the benefits of adopting a strong POS solution in order to achieve our goal to help our partners assist merchants in digitalizing their businesses globally. With our new line of strong POS hardwares, we aim to partner with the best software companies to inspire trust and confidence in merchants to take their first step in this endeavour.
