In 1998, Richard Stamper and co-founder Richard “RJ” Jaynes opened FineLine Technologies, their goal: to pioneer a new accelerated model for advanced ticketing services. Printing tickets was stuck in an “old-school model,” where orders would often take 12 days or longer to produce. “There was a large void in the marketplace, nobody was offering superior, business-to-business experience with a focus on new technologies”. The determination to win new clients and continuously wow them with our service, has helped FineLine maintain all of the original core customers we started with 18 years ago.
Scaling through Experience
Since 2012 FineLine has been led by 30 year industry executive, George Hoffman whose strategic focus is establishing and maintaining FineLine as the worlds largest dedicated service bureau provider. Hoffman has headed up the companys expansion into new retail technologies such as RFID, along with expanding FineLines global footprint. Where other service bureau providers focus on branding, FineLine has fine-tuned and perfected the production of variable hangtags and labels in the fastest way possible.
Moving forward, Hoffman and the experienced leadership team he has established, are very focused on building out value for event management and, entertainment companies such as stadiums, museums and RFID software integrators. FineLine is a provider who can print and ship RFID badges and credentials in the shortest possible timeframe, usually within 36-48 hours.
Hoffman is optimistic about FineLines upward trajectory. “Innovation is a big thing,” he says. “We want to leverage new technologies that will serve to enhance our platform. Weve got a great future ahead of us.”
Rapid Growth and Innovation
Throughout the last decade FineLine has been expanding its international presence. In 2004 FineLine opened the first overseas facility in Hong Kong, quickly followed by another production facility in Shenzhen, China further supporting our lightning fast turnaround times.
FineLine acquired Montreal-based Source ID in 2015, a premier provider of product identification systems and service bureau solutions to Canadian retailers and brands.
2016, FineLine announced the opening of our European sales, marketing and production operations in Bergen op Zoom, The Netherlands.
