How does the VM Challenge work?
Sixty minutes on the clock, a theme revealed only on site, and then it's all about planning, improvising, and executing. This year's motto was "Little Worlds, Big Imaginations" – and the teams proved that big imagination can thrive with limited resources.
What gets me every time about this format is the pace. There's no days-long conceptualizing here – decisions, improvisation, and adjustments all happen in real time. Props and mannequins this year came courtesy of Pawan Nagarwal and Jambudweep Impex, respectively, while the jury was made up of international design experts.
