Laser cutting is more cost-effective than other cutting methods because processing steps such as tool changing and set-up times are eliminated. Up to 50 % of the processing time can be saved, which means that the acquisition costs are partly amortised in the first year and from the second year of use onwards there is a considerable cost advantage.

With the laser cutter, precise cutting edges and the finest geometries can be realised at high speed without additional post-processing. Since subjects are set and cut very close to each other, material consumption or waste is reduced. Material savings of up to 25 % can be achieved.

Especially in acrylic processing, the laser offers the advantage that the laser cut produces crystal-clear cut edges and inner contours. Additional finishing is therefore not necessary. Likewise, deburring is not necessary when cutting cast PMMA.

Integration of the laser into the data workflow is possible seamlessly. Data from digital proof or work preparation can be sent to the laser, eliminating the need for time-consuming preparation of the cutting data.

In addition, the laser can also be used for high-quality photo engraving. This, in combination with the excellent cutting results, enables many high-value applications and business opportunities.

Laser cutting is nearly noiseless and dust-free, which is a significant advantage for the staff and workplace health. Laser technology enables clean working - there is no chip residue and no need for cleaning after material processing.
