Torex showcases wide range of solutions and new strategy at EuroShop 2008

First chance for German customers to see complete range of Torex solutions

Berlin, GERMANY – January 21, 2008 – At EuroShop 2008 Torex Retail Holdings Limited (Torex™), the leading European-based global provider of software and solutions to the extended retail marketplace, will showcase for the first time its new product strategy and a wide range of solutions, in Germany (Düsseldorf 23 to 27 Feb. Hall 6, A79).

With its new organizational structure and a wide product portfolio, Torex is able to provide best-in-class, end-to-end solutions to the extended retail market, including retail, petroleum and convenience, fast moving consumer goods, and leisure, food & beverage markets. Torex products range from diverse POS solutions, loss prevention systems, to human capital management, warehouse management, supply chain management and business analysis.

In addition to the Torex LUCAS-POS (formerly Lucas) and Torex OSCAR-POS (formerly Lucas OSM) solutions, Torex is presenting its Torex Retail-J-POS and Torex DRS-POS solutions at EuroShop. In addition, Torex will be exhibiting Torex WFM-HCM (formerly Lucas WM) systems for workforce management and demand planning and Torex Compass-SCM a solution for merchandising and assortment planning, at its stand.

Torex will be exhibiting the following products:

Torex LUCAS-POS – an open standards-based front-end POS solution, providing retailers with a flexible and scalable system to meet their customer service requirements. Running on Java, Torex LUCAS-POS can run on either Windows or Linux machines - this ensures that retailers can benefit from an open, platform-independent solution that is highly configurable and quick to implement. As it is based on the ARTS Data Model and uses open XML based interfaces, Torex LUCAS-POS can also integrate with third party retail management, merchandising and stock solutions.

Torex OSCAR-POS – providing sophisticated Point of Service (POS), administration and management functionality for fast moving retail environments. Torex OSCAR-POS is designed to meet the highest levels of customer service through efficient management of transactions across the whole value chain. Torex OSCAR-POS ensures accurate sales and stock management, as well as giving retailers real-time visibility and control over their business operations.

Torex Retail J-POS – an integrated, network-centric suite of POS, store and central management applications designed to meet the needs of medium and large-size retailers.
