Retail chain Selver selects Aldata G.O.L.D.

Aldata Solution and A-Selver AS, Estonian and Latvian chain of supermarkets and hypermarkets specializing in food products and convenience goods, announced today that Selver has chosen G.O.L.D. to support supply chain and store processes in their Estonian and Latvian stores.

Selver has currently 23 stores in Estonia and is planning to open 15 stores in Latvia by the end of 2009. G.O.L.D. will first be deployed in Latvia and is scheduled to be taken into production in fall 2008. The Estonian G.O.L.D. implementation will take place after that in 2009.

Aldata Solution will provide the following G.O.L.D. solutions:

- G.O.L.D. Central for centralised master data, buying, assortment management and price management
- G.O.L.D. Shop to manage the store back office of sales outlets including store replenishment management and
- G.O.L.D. Mobile for in-store mobile operations such as store reception and re-ordering management.

"After an in-depth selection process, Aldata was chosen as a partner based on their long term cooperation with large international customers and extensive experience and knowledge in food retail sector, which Selver will benefit when going international itself. Aldata's G.O.L.D. is specifically retail application and has most if not all functionalities Selver needs, already included in its standard package. Selver will also make use of modern retail work processes implemented in G.O.L.D." says Toomas Mändla, the IT Manager of A-Selver AS.
