Assmann Ladenbau (Shop Fittings) Leibnitz has long been at the vanguard of shop design trends. The high level of expertise of this outstanding and innovative company from southern Styria (Austria) will once more be on show at EuroShop 2002. All in all, Assmann will present a selection of seven sytems in Düsseldorf, five of which are “brand new”. Each one either adopts a current style, or sets a new trend for shop fittings with added value.

Branding is at the core of the Pool system. It is perfect for communicating images, particulary in the non-food sectors, but is equally suited for other types of displays, such as clothes. The history of Pool’s creation is typical for Assmann: their design department in Vienna and their R&D department were each set to work on a brief for the development of a creative system for small areas. The two resulting solutions were then combined to make one system. Assmann has made use of circular tubing, currently very much in vogue, to create their Pool concept. A clever slot system with concealed slots, elegant rounded uprights and (optional) rear panel makes Pool visually light and graceful.
