plasmadiscounter.nl, a Netherlands-based multi-channel electrical retailer run by Dutch motor racing celebrity Tom Coronel, has successfully implemented the electronic shelf edge labelling solution from ZBD, the epaper for retail specialist, to ensure its customers see consistent pricing online, at the shelf edge and at the point of sale.
ZBD’s range of epops has been installed throughout the store, located in Naarden, Netherlands. Tom Coronel, plasmadiscounter.nl, said, “We previously used paper signage for our in-store shelf edge labelling. Our store looks great, with a fantastic range of product, and we wanted our signage to reflect this. We selected ZBD’s epops because they look good, and from talking to other ZBD customers, we knew that they would be quick and easy to install. We can now change prices across our channels daily, and our staff are impressed, as the epops display stock levels, which has in turn improved customer service. From our point of view it has been a perfect roll-out.”
System integrator CREO-CPS was responsible for the implementation, installing the larger ZBD epop 500 next to the TV’s and washing machines, and the epop 300 for smaller products.
David Rogers, Sales & Marketing Director at ZBD, said, “We’re delighted at how smoothly this project has run. The epops look great in store, and plasmadiscounter.nl can now rest assured that at whatever point it is communicating with its customers, whether it be online or in store, the customer sees the same price and information. plasmadiscounter.nl can now run promotions at the push of a button, providing customers with even better deals.”
