Panasonic System Solutions division were celebrating in September after winning the coveted Manufacturer of the Year title at the Security Excellence Awards.

Against a glistening backdrop of chandeliers and champagne, Panasonic enjoyed an evening of entertainment at the London Hilton, where the prestigious award was presented to them for the second year consecutive year. An unprecedented feat for any manufacturer in the industry, the award once again signifies Panasonic’s esteemed position in the worlds of security and surveillance.

As one of the judges explained, “The Best Security Manufacturer Award is bestowed upon the company with the most votes cast by the UK’s Top 50 NSI-registered installers and the 50 premier members of the Association of Security Consultants (ASC)”; confirming that Panasonic’s efforts and achievements are not only evident to their customers and clients, but are also recognised by industry experts.

Panasonic’s ongoing commitment to their customers, from pre-sales advice through to post-sales support, was singled out by the judges, who explained: “On top of an excellent financial performance and product innovation, Panasonic prides itself on commitment to its customers in a variety of ways.”

Panasonic’s win was also supported by the editors of leading security titles SMT, CCTV Today and Security Installer, who presented Simon Wright, General Manager of Panasonic System Solutions, with the award.

As one judge said, “A vote of confidence such as this is tangible evidence that Panasonic provides reliable, well-designed products at the right price. No1 for the second year in succession.”
