Since the Mobile Solutions Conference which was held in Majorca between the 3rd and 5th October the innovative M1POS Handheld System of PARTNER-TECH has been available on the European market. The participants of the international conference discussed the fields of application and the future market development regarding mobile units – while a severe thunderstorm swept across the island.

At the centre there was the launch of the new product of the POS specialist PARTNER-TECH. The M1POS is a mobile all-rounder combining the functions of a PDA, a thermal printer, a scanner and a card reader in one unit. It uses the system software WIN CE.NET 5.0 and communicates with other computers or networks by way of WLAN or GPRS. Despite all these possibilities the M1POS is a fascinating light weight of merely 400 grammes. Optional accessories like cradle, a chip card reader and a high quality leather pouch complete the product portfolio – attributes which were received well by the conference participants.

The list of participants was international and wide ranging. People came from Holland, Austria, Denmark, Switzerland, Lithuania, Spain, Norway, Israel, Croatia, Hungary, Britain, Taiwan and Germany. Among them were representatives of application companies as well as international distributors and firms for software integration. The areas of application range from logistics and payment solutions, mobility in ERP-systems to the world of gastronomy. The conference ended in a typically Spanish way with tapas and wine.

This gave us new impulses for new areas of application and ideas regarding the future developments of our mobile units”, commented the delighted press spokesman Thomas Reyers.
