The Düsseldorf Metro AG is extending its tests in the application of CPFR projects (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment) on the b2b-platform Global NetXchange (GNX). From 2002 the group wants to tie up 10 manufacturers of washing, cleaning and polishing agents via GNX to in-house systems, including companies such as Henkel, SCA and Kimberly Clark. The aims of the CPFR projects are primarily the improvement of transparency along the value adding chain as well as increased efficiency in stock and promotion management.
