Avery Berkel will be showing its lowest profile checkout scales ever at Euroshop 2002 (Stand G55), specifically designed for incorporation into checkout units where ergonomics and the maximisation of space are paramount.

The simple, strain gauge-based FX110 and FX115 are possibly the lowest profile scales currently available with a maximum height of less than 50mm, while the more sophisticated FX120 and FX125 have a higher profile of 87mm.

But despite the reduced size, both series also offer significant improvements in technology, including increased weighing accuracy over a wide range of capacities and resolutions, flash memory to allow reconfiguration of the scale in situ and error codes for ease of maintenance and fault diagnosis.
