In hall 5, booth E37, heddier electronic GmbH presents a variety of miscellaneous intelligent sensors for the operation in shopping displays and retail security machines.

The capacitive sensors are able to reliably discern when a customer touches merchandise products as well as advertisement displays. For example, upon the customer’s touch of an electronically marked consumer article, a video presentation is immediately launched thereafter.

In cooperation with the American manufacturer of security technology, Protex Inc., heddier electronic also presents an interactive retail pole. Protex Inc. manufactures retail security systems used for cameras and cell phones. Via radar sensor, the retail pole automatically identifies approaching customers. As soon as the customer touches the exhibited product, a corresponding advertisement clip is launched.
