From 23 to 27 February 2008 EuroShop, The Global Retail Trade Fair, will be bringing the international retail trade and its partners to the Düsseldorf exhibition centre for the 16th time now. As the world’s No. 1 investment goods fair for the retail trade this three-yearly exhibition is the top event in the sector: approx. 1,600 exhibitors from over 50 countries will be represented here on over 95,000 m² net exhibition space.
The list of exhibitors at EuroShop 2008 reads like a “who’s who“ of the sector: all four range segments feature the international market leaders in their field. An excerpt from the list of exhibitors:
Presented in the EuroConcept section are companies specialising in shop fittings and store equipment like: Arthemagroup (I), Cefla (I), Groupe HMY (F/E), Hansa Kontor (D), Itab (S), La Fortezza (I), Tegometall (D), Umdasch-Gruppe (A), Vitrashop-Gruppe (D), Wanzl (D); firms specialising in lighting: Iguzzini (I), Philips Lighting (D/NL), Zumtobel (A); flooring specialists: Amtico (UK), Armstrong DLW (D), Halstead (UK) and chilled and frozen food display cabinet suppliers: AHT (A), Arneg (I), Carrier, Epta (I), Hauser (A) and Ingersoll Rand (B/E).
The EuroSales section features firms like Almax (I), EuroDisplay (D), Hindsgaul (DK), La Rosa (I) and Window (F) showcasing unusual designs and exclusive products in the shop mannequin segment. And for the latest trends in the field of visual merchandising and displays there are firms like Barthelmess (D), HL Display (S), POPAI International and Renzel (D).
Featuring, for instance, in the EuroCIS section are suppliers of information technology such as: IBM (D), SAP (D), Tomra (D), Torex Retail (D), Wincor (D), and scales specialists: Bizerba (D) and Avery Weigh-Tronix (GB). Offering future-oriented solutions in the field of security technology are firms such as ADT (D), Checkpoint (D) and Nedap (NL).
EuroExpo is the section at EuroShop 2008 focusing on the topics exhibition stand construction, design and events. Renowned exhibitors here include: D'Art Design (D), Degussa Röhm (D), Leitner(D), Mero (D), Octanorm (D) and Syma(D).

Regardless of whether you are looking for an individual exhibitor or want a complete download of the current list of exhibitors registering to date, the system provides you with information on company addresses, stand numbers and it can even show the exact location of the stand on screen. But the system can do even more:
Along with the stand confirmation all exhibitors receive in August they will be sent their own log-in. This enables them to keep their online details right up to date with their company profile, corporate news or product information. This means the EuroShop portal can already be used by exhibitors in the run-up to the fair to target relevant EuroShop clientele who can then benefit from a wide range of additional information.
EuroShop will welcome trade visitors to Halls 3–17 (excluding Hall 8) of the Düsseldorf Trade Fair Center daily between 10am and 6pm from Saturday, 23 February to Wednesday, 27 February 2008. The EuroCIS segment will occupy Halls 6–7. One-day tickets will cost EUR 40 (EUR 28 plus postage if purchased in advance online), while two-day tickets will sell for EUR 60 (EUR 45 plus postage, online in advance). Five-day tickets will be available for EUR 110 (EUR 90 plus postage, online in advance). Students and trainees will be admitted for EUR 15. Admission tickets entitle holders to travel free of charge to the fair and back on public transport within the Rhine-Ruhr and Rhine-Sieg Regional Transport Networks (VRR and VRS).
