B) HIGH EFFICIENCY FROZEN FOOD, A COMPLETE RANGE OF REFRIGERATION UNITS WITH GLASS TOPS

At EuroShop, Epta is also presenting its new “High Efficiency” range for frozen products comprising horizontal island units and vertical and combined cabinets.

Based on the respect for the environment and the primary focus on energy saving, this new range of units for frozen foods, thanks to specific features, such as glass tops and high efficiency fans, guarantees a reduction of up to 50% in energy consumption. The stability of the temperature guarantees the highest level of quality in terms of the preservation of the displayed products: the dispersion of the cold is limited, and the evaporation temperature rises, as well as a defrost cycle every 48 hours instead of every 24 hours. (Costan-Tortuga, Bonnet Névé-Cosmos 3 ECO).

With these devices, the sales outlet can fully recover the cost of purchasing tops for its refrigeration units in just over one year, and then continue to make considerable energy savings (compared to the standard solutions available on the market).

Particular attention has also been paid to the aesthetics of the new Epta refrigeration units: the extremely light structure of the tops, with a limited thickness, has been designed to guarantee minimal visual impact; the consumer’s eye is drawn directly on the products displayed. The vertical frames are particularly slim; a light installed under the handrail and hidden by the same, illuminates and brings attention to the products.

Even the vertical negative temperature cabinet with doors has had a facelift, thanks to the adoption of new condensation-proof glass, which do not need electric heating, high efficiency fans or LED lighting. New technology in materials used in the door-frame brings further reduction in heating demand.

The whole range has been designed to meet ergonomic criteria, guaranteeing the customer easy access to the products and the fast replenishment of the unit by sales staff.
