AU3800 series features energy efficiency and performance enhancement from the Intel Atom processor technology which integrated into its small and robust enclosure. With durable aluminum chassis and fanless design, the AU3800 series provides absolutely quiet and dependable operation for long computing lifespan and better heat dissipation. Specifically designed for POS application, AU3810/ AU3820 series support multiple powered COM and USB ports to accommodate multiple POS peripherals.
The AU3810 combines Intel’s 945GSE chipset with Intel Atom processor N270 1.6GHz; and the AU3820 is equipped with Intel’s dual-core Atom D525 1.8GHz processor with ICH8M chipset, and there are sufficient I/O interface including four USB 2.0, three powered COM, one RJ11, one PS/2, one VGA port, one parallel (optional) and one G-LAN for adequate peripheral connectivity. With the compact fanless rugged design, AU3810 supports up to 2GB DDR2 memory and AU3820 supports up to 4GB DDR3 memory; as well as both provide two SATA, one IDE storage interface and easy installation is provided via the optional mounting bracket.
