Freiburg, February 23, 2026 - Pyramid Computer GmbH will be presenting pioneering solutions for retailers at the EuroShop 2026 trade fair in Düsseldorf from February 22 to 26. The focus at stand C61 in hall 6 will be on solutions for self-ordering in the food service industry and self-checkout in retail. One highlight: the new retail AI system from Pyramid, a revolutionary solution for the use of camera-based AI in retail.

Three product pillars for the entire digitalization journey

Retail AI system: invisible intelligence for smarter retail

With its new retail AI system, Pyramid is revolutionizing camera-based AI in retail. The comprehensive hardware ecosystem remains invisible to customers, as the camera technology is part of the lighting elements and therefore the infrastructure; AKHET ® performance and AI servers work in the back office. For operators, the retail AI system is a powerful tool for collecting AI-supported data locally and evaluating it in real time. Pyramid thus provides the complete infrastructure for the operation of modern AI software in retail - reliable, powerful, secure, scalable and discreet in appearance.

The modular light-camera rails can be connected in series and supplied with power via a single interface. This significantly reduces installation costs, hardware complexity and the total cost of ownership. The camera angles can be adjusted directly on site so that the system can be flexibly adapted to different store layouts, shelf concepts and product placements. Depending on the AI software used, several use cases can be operated in parallel on the same hardware platform - including continuous shelf monitoring and product availability, fraud detection and theft prevention as well as the creation of heat maps and the anonymized analysis of customer movements.

POLYTOUCH ® PIXI15.6 and SWIFT: Compact self-service innovations

As the highlight of the entry-level line for the food service industry, Pyramid is presenting the POLYTOUCH ® PIXI15.6self-service kiosk at Café Pyramid, which has a footprint of just 230 x 200 millimeters and fits on an A4 sheet of paper. The ultra-compact format of the terminal and its

Wallmount and countertop mounting options make it easy to provide plenty of self-service power. Pyramid received the Good Design Award for the PIXI - one of the world's most prestigious awards for product and industrial design. The prize, which has been awarded by the Chicago Athenaeum since 1950, recognizes products that set standards in innovation, functionality and design.

The POLYTOUCH ® SWIFT terminal follows the same design and hardware concept as the PIXI. With touchscreen diagonals of 24, 27 or 32 inches, it is the ideal complement or alternative to its "little brother" and ranks with it in the lower price segment of the Pyramid solution portfolio.
