Promic and Jansen become Showdown Displays Europe

Promic Display Systems and Jansen Display join forces under a new name: Showdown Displays Europe. With that, a new partnership was born.

In October 2018, Sign-Zone (a leading display manufacturer in the North American market) became the new owner of Jansen Display. In May 2019, Promic also became part of the Sign-Zone Group. After operating as two independent entities, it soon became clear that Promic and Jansen Display would be even stronger together. That’s exactly what happened at the beginning of this year.

Coming together to serve you better

Both Promic and Jansen have built a strong reputation throughout Europe as a provider of high-quality displays and signage systems. With the merger of the two companies, Showdown Displays Europe will be the largest supplier and manufacturer of promotional signs, display systems, and POS materials.

‘With our mutual drive to deliver quality for the right price and our ambition to become the first choice for resellers, Promic and Jansen Display have joined forces. This merger allows us to achieve our goal of providing our customers with the best service,’ says Vít Zajíček, president of Showdown Displays Europe and former CEO of the Jansen Display Group.

Expanded product range with brand new services

‘When it comes to our product range, Promic and Jansen Display really complement each other,’ Zajíček continues. ‘Together, we now can offer a product range that completely covers our customers’ needs. Illuminated signs, photo back walls, digital displays, and hospitality equipment: you name it, we’ve got it.’

In addition to expanding its product range, Showdown Displays is also working on further developing its printing services. ‘Right now we are in the last stage of setting up a brand new printing hall at our manufacturing location in the Czech Republic. Bringing high-end products and quality prints together, our reseller customers can now come to us for all-in, ready-to-use display products. We are now the one-stop-shop for their success story.’


In the coming months, Showdown Displays Europe will be present at several European exhibitions, including C!Print Lyon, Euroshop, FESPA, and Reklama Polygraf. ‘We invite all customers from Promic and Jansen Display to get to know the new brand,’ says Loes Heintges, marketing director of Showdown Displays Europe. ‘You can still find us under those names, with the same logos and the same websites you are used to. As of May 2020, we will completely switch to the name and the new visual style of Showdown Displays.’
