ITOS introduces its new IC-58, an advanced mobile computer with high durability
On the occasion of the latest edition of Logistics & Automation Madrid, ITOS presents to the industry its new handheld solution IC-58 . An advanced handheld computer that is extremely robust and durable and incorporates the latest image processing technology for digital data capture and identification.
As with all of its handheld solutions, ITOS offers companies and their professionals the ability to customize and configure the device to meet their needs. The new IC-58 features Android 11 with certified GMS (Google Mobile Services), an 8-core processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory as standard, and up to 6 GB and 128 GB of optional memory. This ensures a better user experience with smoother and more secure terminal operation.
On the communication side, the device integrates Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technologies for faster data speeds and network range, as well as NFC for data exchange between nearby devices.
The new handheld is professionally crafted and sleek, with a slim design that makes it easy to grip. The rugged and durable device is IP67 rated and resistant to drops and vibrations, making it suitable for the harshest environments. To that end, the IC-58 features a 5.72-inch HD touchscreen with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass® protective technology. Overall, an industrial-grade terminal for use in mobile environments in the world of logistics and transportation, as well as throughout the supply chain.
As a solution for digital data capture, the company integrates a powerful 1D/2D barcode scanner and RFID technology with different reader/writer versions for HF and UHF. To ensure efficient operation even during intensive work days, the IC-58 features a powerful 4,600 mAh battery that can be easily removed by the user.
To facilitate task execution, ITOS offers companies a range of accessories designed exclusively for the terminal. These include the reading gun, which facilitates daily work, speeds up warehouse operations and increases employee productivity. There are also accessories that increase the terminal's protection from drops and improper use, such as the hand strap and the protective TPU cover. The IC-58 also features a modular charging cradle that allows simultaneous charging of up to 3 devices and 3 additional batteries.
