Brugine, 22 February 2023 – At the upcoming Euroshop (Düsseldorf, 26 February - 2 March 2023) CAREL will be presenting its range of services designed to optimise system management, offering users a “phygital” experience that
combines the use of CAREL products with the benefits of digital, for manufacturers, installers, maintenance technicians and users of refrigeration systems.
The rise in energy costs and recent regulations together require a reduction in the energy impact of systems. In the food retail market, the challenge starts with the design and installation of the
refrigeration and air conditioning systems, which have the greatest impact on energy consumption, and continues with management of the systems throughout their life cycle, always with food quality as the top priority. Hence the need to correctly control the installed systems and achieve the expected level of energy consumption is becoming more and more important.
Digitisation is thus a must in order to achieve these objectives: apps and digital services should ensure both easy interaction and effective analysis of unit performance in the field.
One of the tools proposed by CAREL is the
RED optimise platform, developed to integrate machine learning models that automatically identify declines in performance compared to expected behaviour, providing
useful maintenance suggestions. This portal is a precious ally in ensuring effective high-quality preventive maintenance, through
centralised system management and predictive analytics on up to hundreds of systems in real time, from the comfort of the office. By planning preventive actions or reacting promptly in the event of unexpected events, the service team can thus minimise the risks of malfunctions across entire chains of stores. Through this portal, with energy analysis reports and identification of the best behaviour to be adopted, CAREL continuously supports retailers in
increasing their efficiency, providing technical training and making its experience available to customers, from system design to management.
CAREL digital services allow
manufacturers and maintenance personnel to efficiently commission, configure and service units equipped with specific controllers, using customisable apps via a wireless connection (e.g. Bluetooth), without needing to act directly on the unit interface, which may not always be easily accessible. The big news presented at Euroshop will be
RED control, the cloud portal for asset management in the food service business. This digital solution makes temperature tracing easier and faster for the user, and
improves the service level through real-time alarm notifications and remote data analysis.
Whether improving system efficiency by reducing energy and running costs, greater control over correct product storage by limiting waste, or optimising field activities by reducing downtime, the benefits of CAREL’s integrated proposal respond to different needs for different players, bringing CAREL even closer to its customers.
