Żabka streamlines their assortment management process using Range Manager – improving efficiency and enabling effective customer-centric assortment allocation.

Żabka Polska S.A., a leading European convenience retailer with over 12,000 stores, has deployed Range Manager—a custom solution developed in cooperation with Strategix—to streamline assortment execution. The tool connects their existing assortment planning system with the Blue Yonder Planogram Generator, optimizing product ranges and allocation while supporting data-driven decisions at both chain and store cluster levels.

Range Manager – a Swiss knife in efficient product allocation

 

Range Manager is a tool for defining, analyzing, and allocating shelf-aware assortment ranges. It manages the entire process—from importing assortment changes and running simulations with KPIs, to previewing planograms and assigning approved ranges to stores.

One of Range Manager’s key strengths lies in its ability to optimize allocation across multiple locations efficiently. By leveraging advanced analytical capabilities and simulation tools, the system ensures that each store receives an assortment tailored to local demand, space constraints, and sales performance. Automated workflows speed up decision-making, reduce manual errors, and enable quick adjustments when market conditions change, so the right products are distributed to the right stores at the right time.


By integrating the Range Manager solution, Żabka Polska has achieved faster product launches, optimized cluster-level product selection, and prepared efficient assortments for BY Planogram Generator to create over 400.000 store-specific planograms. Key decisions are guided by clear, visual data analytics.
