Efficiently implementing and maintaining websites with integrated online shops
An attractive, flexible and stable website is a key prerequisite for business success on the Internet. This is why powerful content management solutions that allow online retailers to efficiently implement their long-term web strategies take center stage in the presentation of e-Spirit (www.e-Spirit.com) at the EuroShop 2011 in Düsseldorf (February 26 to March 2). In the EuroCIS section of Hall 6, Booth C49, e-Spirit will be demonstrating how companies can implement attractive e-commerce portals, company websites and intranets using the content management system (CMS) FirstSpirit while at the same time reducing the effort and costs of content administration.
User-friendly optimization of the editing process
The FirstSpirit CMS provides content and functions from various systems on a uniform integration platform. In addition to existing shop software, product information management (PIM) and media asset management solutions, databases, community software and portals such as SAP NetWeaver or IBM WebSphere can also be integrated into the CMS. This makes the CMS the main work environment, used by editors to access and publish on the web all content required for the ideal presentation of products and for online transaction processing. Content only needs to be created and maintained once, then can be easily used for all output channels.
“E-commerce is a key sales driver in the retail sector,” says Oliver Jäger, Director Marketing & Communications at e-Spirit. “The HDE trade association is predicting rapid growth of 10 percent to more than EUR 26 billion for 2011 in Germany. Powerful, flexible content management solutions assist online retailers in their efforts to position themselves successfully and convincingly in this competitive market environment.”
e-Spirit is presenting itself as a technology partner of ETHALON GmbH, one of the leading IT service providers specializing in the retail sector. Visit them in Hall 6, Booth C49.
