The Victorinox´s Division Fashion has selcted TEX-DEFINE™ as its product development software solution. The Swiss company based in Ibach-Schwyz was founded in 1884 and is world known for its cutlery especially for their versatile pocket knife. Today Victorinox is a globally company whose total product range includes household and professional cutlery, watches, luggage, perfume and apparel.

The company’s apparel product development is located in the USA. The main objectives of the PDM/PLM-project are to increase the speed of the Time-To-Market of their products and to create a homogenous software landscape with a simple data administration as well as provide constant supplier communication. To achieve these goals the Koppermann Client-Server technology as well as their web technology will be implemed and used for worldwide product development communication at Victorinox.

The international project with the cooperation of the Suisse holding company, the American sub-company as well as the Koppermann German project management supported by it´s office in New York attest to both the efficiency of Koppermann’s software solutions and world-wide consulting abilities. Long industry experience, the high flexibility of the system and the intense personal support locally in the Switzerland and the USA convinced Victorinox that Koppermann was the only company that could provide them with the tools necessary to meet their long range product development goals.
