The Open World from Bizerba (hall 6, booth E56)

guests of the EuroShop can experience a supermarket for innovative retailers at the Bizerba booth E56 in hall 6. Here, Bizerba will showcase the Open World over around 400m²: Together with worldwide partner companies, the solutions provider from Balingen has developed new systems for professionally managing fresh foods over the entire value added chain and marketing at the point-of-sale. The celebrity chef from Munich, Alfons Schuhbeck, will make a guest appearance (Saturday, 26th February, 12:30).

Indeed, everything might seem very comfortable and familiar in this supermarket, but it is crawling with technical innovations in every corner, whether it may be at the bakers counter, in the catering section or in the check-out area. Sometimes this is hidden as in the case of new software solutions and sometimes this is very obvious as in the case of the new cutting machines, which cut in a particularly hygienic and energy saving way. And it quickly becomes clear: the topic of mobility has also reached the Bizerba scales and tills systems. With solutions for Mobile Marketing and Mobile Payment, food retailers in the future will also be able to impress the iPhone generation with a great affinity for internet and media applications at the point-of-sale.

In addition to the many technological effects, there will still be enough time for refreshments for the visitors - time for also tasting the fresh food. There will be fresh bread rolls in the Bizerba boulangerie, the fromagerie will entice with its cheese specialities, tasty cold meats will await in the Bizerba salumeria. And the charcuterie will offer fresh ham. Finally, Bizerba will herald the end of the day with a cocktail happy hour – every day from 17:00.

To the guest: Celebrity chef Alfons Schuhbeck from Munich

Bizerba is particularly delighted to welcome its guest of honour on Saturday, 26th February at its booth: Alfons Schuhbeck, the celebrity chef from Munich and an old friend of Bizerba will give guests an exciting insight into his culinary skills and a talk on the precise effectiveness of spices from 12:30.
