The speech takes place at Euroshop 2014’s opening, on February 16th at 3:00 pm at Architecture and Design Forum Hall 10. Takano will talk about consumption’s aspirations of the new Brazilian middle class and also his Visual Merchandising project for the 3.550 Boticario’s stores which are running for the EuroShop Retail Design Award 2014

The new Boticario’s store concept will be one of the architect Júlio Takano’s theme for his speeches, he is the partner of KT retail solutions. The new visual merchandising company has signed the project that is being applied around 3.550 stores which cost about U$ 2.5 billion within the next four years. The Boticário is a perfume and cosmetics industry which is franchising leader in Brazil.

The project is being supported in three costumer communication pillars: costumer’s interactivity, regionalization and experience with the brand’s products at the selling points. The decoration has tablets where the costumers may take product’s pictures and send them to family and friends.

“The developing idea has created an emotional connecting concept and costumer’s experimenting with the brand”, says Takano. The stores also don’t have traditional windows anymore to take place to virtual windows, with touch screen and interacting content. “The technology has been used in order to provide costumer’s maximum interaction with the products”.

The architect will also talk about how 48 million people on average class in Brazil, in the last eight years, have reflected in the Brazilian retail. “The big stores and supermarkets have become to invest in store’s concepts the offer different experiences, new services and comfort to demanding costumers”.
