Atelier Damböck Messebau GmbH

Sustainability is the Message atelier damböck Gains Green Globe Certificate at EuroShop

Munich, February 26, 2011 – The Munich-based atelier damböck, an internationally-acclaimed high-end and full service fair stand construction company, themed its trade fair presence at the EuroShop on superior design with a focus on climate neutral stand construction.

“We want to provoke our visitors because the fair stand industry needs to wake up on environmental protection and sustainability. The ecological aspect is often simply overlooked when it comes to fair stand construction and presence,” says Andreas Damboeck, General Manager of atelier damböck.

The company’s trade fair stand at the EuroShop is unique in both concept and implementation. Leftover waste materials from previous fair stand constructions were collected and reused in a fresh context with novel functions for its stand: for example, waste was used as wall elements and decorative eye-catchers or as a stair case made from recycled chipboard. Waste material was also avoided by substituting conventional foil and fabric graphics with wall projections.

www.greenstands.de – a growing success

atelier damböck provides climate-neutral fair stands within its www.greenstands.de
initiative since 2009. The initiative matches the client’s specific needs to sustainable measures. Like all climate-neutral services and products, the climate-neutral fair stand is based on the principle of avoiding and reducing environmental pollution as well as compensating the CO2 emissions produced.

“We have already implemented the greenstands approach for more than ten percent of our clients and more than seventy percent of our clients are considering greenstands for exhibitions and events. “Climate protection is not contradictory to economic interests – it’s an opportunity to act responsibly for almost any enterprise,” explains Andreas Damboeck.

atelier damböck – Green Globe certified

atelier damböck is keenly focused on sustainable economic activity and

The Green Globe Certification is a worldwide accredited seal for sustainability, awarded to companies with particularly sustainable management. In addition to ecological sustainability, social and economic managment play an important role in the certificate criteria.
