Shopguard Introduces Screen Wizard

Screen Wizard

Smart Phone/Tablet App for Retail Advertising

Shopguard has introduced the Screen Wizard app for retail promotion and advertising; the software will be exhibited at EurosShop February 16-20, 2014.
The software is an in-store media/content management system that allows retailers to download any kind of promotional, pricing, or technical information for their customers to see. Content can be set to appear on displays throughout the store, via computers or mobile devices.

To be shown at the EuroShop 2014 exhibition February 16-20, 2014, in Düsseldorf, the software also allows retailers to run HD videos, images, and slide shows in addition to Flash animations and product specifications, pricing information, and promotional messages. These can all be managed remotely from a central server, appearing on a variety of digital assets throughout the store. A user-friendly interface enables the app to be operated by anyone without specialized computer training.

Retailers can also transition between static and animated promotions, and experiment with what works the best. Advertisements can be scheduled and organized according to product, groups of products, brands, and what is available in the store. They can be set based on the time of day or where the store is located, giving retailers flexibility in targeting consumers and generating sales.

Brands can combine their own content with that of every retailer, displaying content, pricing, accessories, promotions that are dedicated to their channel. Content can be pushed to devices to simultaneously announce new devices, new accessories or even the latest bluetooth wearable device.

The versatile app is controlled via the Internet, so content on HD screens and kiosks in stores can be controlled remotely or via smartphones and tablets by clerks and managers. The application can also collect statistics on how customers interact with the displays for gauging the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Perhaps the biggest perk, however, is that external hardware is not required. The only components necessary on the customer’s part are the existing phones and tablets. Shopguard will turn these into the primary media content managing hardware.

Shopguard’s security and advertising systems are currently being used in over 40 different countries, in some 20,000 retail stores worldwide. Easily integrated into in-store media and interactive merchandising systems, Shopguard Screen Wizard enables users to manage advertising in real time. The advantage over competitors’ products is that the right audience can be reached with the appropriate content, at the right time. This app also integrates with store infrastructure or various Shopguard systems can be purchased together for a more integrated solution.

Shopguard Screen Wizard will be shown at the EuroShop exhibition in Düsseldorf, the largest annual event for marketing digital-format retail products.
