EuroShop 2011
26th Feb – 2nd March 2011
Dusseldorf, German
Hall 06/ I64
SATO International Europe is to demonstrate, for the first time, its brand new TH2 label printer at EuroShop 2011. SATO, an international leader in the Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) industry and a leader in barcode printing, labelling, and EPC/RFID solutions is to launch the revolutionary new TH2 label printer across Europe in January 2011.
The TH2 has been designed to solve problems experienced in the retail environment with its powerful price markdown functionality. Using the database, which can be downloaded to an SD card using USB or LAN, the TH2 removes price calculation responsibilities from the staff on the shop floor while still allowing them to implement a price reduction promotion or sale at short notice. Integrating with any handheld scanner the TH2 can print WAS and NOW prices with percentage discount information set automatically onto a tag or label.
Designed with practical use in mind the TH2 is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and allows between 4000 and 5000 labels to be printed from a single charge. It features an in-built keypad, has an anti-microbial casing to prevent bacterial cross contamination and has a wide, adjustable LCD screen display that offers intuitive, mobile phone type operation.
The TH2 has a carrying handle as standard and a range of accessories is available such as a keypad cover, SD card, a hanging wall mount and a label cutter.
