New System Manager designed to create Healthy and Sustainable Food Retail Stores Wins Award for Innovation

 


At a ceremony during the 2014 AHR Expo, held in New York City January 21-23, Danfoss was presented with an AHR Innovation Award, Refrigeration Category, for its ADAP-KOOL® System Manager – AK-SM 800 Series.


“This award gives tremendous recognition to the contributions of our investment in Product Management and R&D, and further elevates Danfoss as a leader in innovation and competitive market solutions,” commented Peter Dee, Danfoss sales and services director.


“The system manager enables optimum operation and transparency of control systems, providing store owners new opportunities for energy savings and protection against food loss. This award also acknowledges Danfoss’ dedication to solutions for low-GWP refrigerants, like CO2, and to creating healthy, sustainable stores”, explained Maureen Lally, Marketing and Strategy Leader for EL,”


This is the 16th time in 11 years that Danfoss has been recognized in the awards program, including 5 Honorable Mentions and 1 Product of the Year Award, making Danfoss one of the most recognized companies in the Innovation Awards Program.


The annual awards are sponsored by the organizers of the AHR Expo: ASHRAE; the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI); and the International Exposition Company (IEC).
