We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Ryan as Group Sales Director at Ergonomic Solutions. In this newly created role Mark will be responsible for developing and executing international sales strategies within the Ergonomic Solutions Group, this will include channel, OEM and vertical market development. Before joining Ergonomic Solutions, Mark was the Vice President of Sales for EMEA at Metrologic Instruments GmbH. During his time with Metrologic he developed operations in the Middle East and Russia as well as the major primary European member markets.

Mark joined Ergonomic Solutions as Group Sales Director in May 2011. Mark will be responsible for developing and executing international sales strategies within the Ergonomic Solutions Group, this will include channel, OEM and vertical market development.
Mark joined Metrologic Instruments GmbH based in Munich, Germany in 1994. Metrologic is a manufacturer of Laser barcode devices and mobile data capture devices with its major markets being in retail, transport and logistics and healthcare.
The company’s route to market was through direct and indirect channels. Additionally, Metrologic has an OEM division which markets to organisations seeking to integrate laser devices into its own equipment. Mark grew with the organisation and in 2004 was promoted to Vice President of Sales for EMEA with responsibility for a total headcount of 100 and revenues of 109M euros. During his time with Metrologic he developed operations in the Middle East and Russia as well as the major primary European member markets.
