QlikTech, (NASDAQ: QLIK) a leader in Business Discovery—user-driven Business Intelligence (BI), today announced that one of the world’s leading bakery groups, Lantmännen Unibake, will be using QlikView’s Business Discovery solution in 11 countries. With an annual turnover of 733 million Euros, Lantmännen Unibake is one of the strongest European bakery groups with 3900 employees. It has production facilities in the USA, UK, Germany, Scandinavia, Belgium, Russia and Eastern Europe.
The ability to unlock information for decision making and the unique consumer-like experience that Business Discovery provides built on a scalable, flexible enterprise platform, were key in Unibake’s decision to use QlikView, the next generation of user-driven BI.

Previously, unlocking information was time consuming and expensive, but with QlikView, Lantmännen Unibake is now able to instantly discover and extract data from any of their systems. Speed and usability is very important as well as the associative search to create financial analysis without separately having to access the accounting systems.
