Growing concern for environmental issues and the degradation of the atmosphere has prompted the Aragonese company Araven to launch its new recycled Shop & Roll basket. This is the first wheeled basket made 100% with recycled plastic.
ARAVEN’s new basket, which comes in 34-litre and 52-litre capacities, is eco-friendly and contributes to the preservation of our environment as it helps to reduce the volume of solid waste at landfill sites. It consequently reduces contamination and also leads to less energy consumption: less fossil fuels are used to produce it, which means less CO2 is generated. For each 100% recycled 34-litre Shop & Roll basket that is produced we achieve a saving of 1.67 kg of CO2 emissions and, in the case of a 52-litre basket, the emission savings are 2.5 kg.
In addition, the chief objective of this leading company in solutions for more convenient shopping, is to provide your customers with added value through innovation. For this reason Shop & Roll is produced in very high quality, high-strength material, that is tested and certified. It has the same properties and behaves in the same way as non-recycled material.
This new product will be presented at the Euroshop Trade Fair, one of the main international events for the commercial equipment sector, staged from 26th February to 3rd March in the German city of Düsseldorf.
A COMPREHENSIVE RANGE OF ECO-BASKETS
ARAVEN now has a comprehensive range of eco-baskets. Our most recent addition, the recycled Shop & Roll, follows on from its predecessor - the Biodegradable Shop & Roll - a product made with oxo-biodegradable technology which means that during its manufacture an activating principle is added to accelerate the degradation process so that the plastic decomposes in less time than virgin plastic.
ARAVEN is totally committed to the sustainability and eco-friendliness of its products.
