The Communication Center works like a classic chat feature. Messages can be shared in a group or in an individual chat. In addition, all application and process information from the InStore Assistant can be sent. For example, item details or a Click & Collect order that is ready for picking. Media from the digital signage library can also be shared.
The chat is intended for communication within the company and for sharing processes directly from our mobile sales app. Processes sent to the chat can be shared with other chats, or, if they are items, they can be added to a shopping cart and are available for check-out directly within the chat.
The Announcements
Information can be communicated within the team quickly and easily with the Announcement feature. It is designed as a top-down communication. This type of communication is especially suitable for corporate information from management intended to reach many employees.
You can share text messages, images, videos, or PDFs in different channels. Due to the top-down approach, only employees with appropriate authorization are allowed to post. Based on the role hierarchy, you can define who gets read, write, or admin permissions.
The “pinning” feature is known from common social media channels: a particularly important post can be marked accordingly with a click and thus permanently “sticks” at the first position of the channel. The author can also decide whether members are allowed to comment on a post.
