4,000,000 UK consumers stopped buying fashion accessories in 2017


The share of UK clothing shoppers that purchased accessories fell from 50.6 percent in 2016 to 40.9 percent in 2017, equating to four million fewer consumers and 390 million pounds in lost revenue, according to GlobalData, data and analytics company.

SAVE FOOD Initiative passes the 1,000 member mark


Established in 2011, membership of the SAVE FOOD Initiative has now passed the 1,000 member mark. The 1,067 supporters currently registered include groups of companies, firms and professional associations as well as research institutes and NGOs from the entire food value chain.

Consumers will spend near-record 19.6 billion dollars on Valentine’s Day


U.S. consumers are expected to spend an average 143.56 dollars on Valentine’s Day as 55 percent of the population celebrates this year, an increase from last year’s 136.57 dollars, according to the annual survey released by the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics.
