Ipsos Retail Performance at EuroShop 2014
Hall 7 Stand 38, EuroShop 2014, Dusseldorf, Germany
Footfall counting and analysis specialist, Ipsos Retail Performance, will be demonstrating a range of new and highly innovative retail customer counting solutions at EuroShop 2014 (Hall 7, Stand A38), including Shopper Profile and Shopper Assist.
The company will also be unveiling for the first time Diamond Staff Review, a staff deployment and review system that enables retailers to plan more effectively their staff members working hours against a recommended profile, calculated by store, and by day and hour. With Diamond Staff Review, customer footfall, staff stretch and staff spread can all be monitored, compared and reviewed to ensure that staffing levels are always optimised.
Shopper Profile is one of the latest and most exciting counting solutions from Ipsos Retail Performance. It is an intelligent retail solution, combining simple sensors and clever software, that analyses shoppers’ faces in-store and provides valuable data to retailers.
With the technology, detailed non-personal information is collected on how consumers respond to visual messaging and how they move through stores; from the moment they enter until they exit, and how they engage with messages throughout their in-store experience.
The technology highlights several different facts about individual consumers, including gender and age range, as well as providing information on what content was viewed and for how long.
Shopper Assist is an intelligent mirror that presents shoppers with suggested items of clothing to complement items they are trying on. Shopper Assist is designed to increase sales, acting as a virtual assistant for times when staff members are engaged with other customers, and as a personal stylist, delivering expert and professional fashion advice.
For shoppers, Shopper Assist is a smart and personalised way to deliver and receive expert advice, a quick and convenience process that is especially ideal for self-service customers. For retailers, Shopper Assist offers a modern approach to cross-selling products that not only enables them to collect a rich source of shopper data but also helps to increase conversion rates and average transaction values.
In addition to these new solutions, Ipsos Retail Performance will also be demonstrating several popular products and services from its existing portfolio, including Shopper Engage Lite, Shopper Count with GEMS web portal and Staff Review.
“We are very excited about the prospect of demonstrating these new solutions to retailers at EuroShop 2014,” says Peter Luff, President of Ipsos Retail Performance. “This is the first time that some of these have been publicly presented by us and we invite retailers and any other groups interested in finding out more to join us for one-to-one demonstrations.”
