If one wants to tap into new markets, the right local and regional partners are the nuts and bolts of success. This also applies to C-star 2015. That’s why the trade fair developers from Düsseldorf and their colleagues from Shanghai are especially delighted about the freshly concluded cooperation with the most important association of shopping centers in China.
China Shopping Center Development Association (Mall China) was founded in 2002 and has since then proven itself to be the most representative and most influential information center and cooperation promoter for the country’s shopping centers. Mall China is also a standard maker for the whole industry.
The association has 800 corporate and 3.000 individual members, among which are real estate developers, shopping center operators, retail fund investors, retail chain brands, consultancy and research services and building services companies.
Mall China has created a comprehensive range of services available to their members. These include a website, a magazine, various research reports, an annual conference (the “International Symposium”), their own commercial real estate trade fair, various management training programs, project assessment and shopping mall study tours.
The cooperation is a win-win-situation for C-star and Mall China both. They will not only link their websites to one another but also mutually promote the other’s activities and publish the other’s news in their respective media channels. Those measures will enable both to reach and inform a large circle of top-level decision makers, especially from the Chinese retail industry.
