The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) introduced a new Commercialisation programme this year at the popular European Retail Property School held in Frankfurt from 5-9 July.
The European Retail Property School offers a wide variety of classes to retail real estate professionals who wish to deepen their knowledge of retail property and shopping centres. The School is taught by some of the industry’s most knowledgeable instructors and classes on leasing, management, marketing, development, design and construction are part of the week-long programme.
An addition is the now highly acclaimed Masterclass, this year given by Julian Long, Managing Director at Foundation Recruitment. During his session, Julian shared with ICSC students his insight and knowledge of how to use practical tools and techniques to enhance personal development and build a successful career.
Included in the 2015 School are 24 scholars, nominated by National Councils and selected to sponsorship by The European Shopping Centre Trust as most likely to become future leaders within the retail real estate industry.
In addition to the nearly 35 hours of classroom training, ICSC’s European Retail Property School provides the students with the opportunity to meet and build a strong international network.
Mike Morrissey, ICSC’s Executive Vice President Global said ”I have really enjoyed seeing the enthusiasm of the participants this year and the level of interest in the new commercialization programme. The European Retail Property School continues to provide top quality education from leading industry professionals in a diverse range of sectors.”
