!D Top

- The concealed RFID reader that combines excellent detection performance with the smallest possible impact on the store’s design -

To meet the needs and standards of today’s store design, we have developed a concealed, ceiling-mounted EAS solution that reduces shrinkage, improves product availability and can also cover wide entrances. This makes it the ideal electronic article surveillance solution for retail stores.

The ceiling-mounted RFID reader takes up no selling space in the store and makes it possible to have completely open entrances where products are enhanced by a bright and open environment.

The concealed RFID reader offers significant advantages such as the possibility to determine whether a product is leaving the store, entering the store or if it is just a stationary item, thereby reducing false alarms drastically.

No matter whether RFID-based EAS is the first or final part of your RFID roll-out, with the !D Top, you have a scalable, future-proof solution to permanently reduce the losses in your stores.

Retail Fraud Awards: !D Cloud awarded as “Most innovative cross-functional product”

Nedap won this year’s the award for “Most innovative cross-functional product” with the !D Cloud solution. The award ceremony took place on the evening of Retail Risk – Leicester. The Fraud Awards showcase and celebrate the very best in retail fraud and loss prevention, people, processes, strategy and technology.

We are extremely proud that !D Cloud is recognized as this year’s most innovative cross-functional product. As the introduction of RFID touches on so many different departments within a retail organization, we continuously challenge ourselves to make it simple for the retailer. Therefore, !D Cloud takes a different approach to using RFID in retail stores as it does not require integration with existing IT systems and adapts extremely well to existing processes,” commented Rob Schuurman, Managing Director at Nedap Retail.

Varner selects Nedap’s loss prevention solution

Groenlo, the Netherlands -- March 22, 2016

Norwegian fashion retailer Varner-Gruppen AS has selected Nedap as their new technology partner to lower the shrinkage in their retail stores. The retailer has 1,500 stores in eight European countries for a range of fashion brands. Varner will implement Nedap’s electronic article surveillance (EAS) solution, including RF antennas at the exits of stores, POS solutions and consumables. Nedap’s offering also paves the way to a growth path towards RFID, connectivity and source tagging, which can deliver additional benefits in relation to stock availability, real-time insights and cost savings.

"Lowering the shrinkage levels in our retail stores is one of the key focus areas for us. We believe that Nedap is the right partner for us to make sure that our high-risk merchandise is optimally secured today and in the future,” states Robert Granath, Head of Loss Prevention at Varner.

“We are delighted to partner with Varner to lower their shrinkage levels. We are looking forward to work closely together with our international partner network to ensure that Varner quickly reaps the benefits of our solutions,” comments Jean-Paul Papen, Key Account Manager at Nedap.
