A stunning installation created by Parisian design studio, 5.5, is being unveiled on Tarketts stand at this years Euroshop (Booth 10C40, Hall 10). Celebrating creative expression, the striking design, with its poetic cloud of intricate vinyl shapes, has been inspired by Tarketts daring new Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) collection, iD Mixonomi. Previous designs created by the multi-award winning team at 5.5 include imaginative collaborations for Veuve Cliquot, Nespresso, Renault, Oberflex and iconic French Duralex glasses.
As well as experiencing the immersive art installation, visitors to the booth will be invited to explore iD Mixonomi. Part of Tarketts successful Floor in the new Playground concept, the daring new collection offers architects and designers unparalleled opportunities to push the boundaries with LVT. Not only can they have fun creating expressive designs across the floor, designers can also easily achieve unique, personalised flooring – perfect for unique customer experiences in shops, stores, hospitality and leisure.
Within the collection an outstanding palette of 33 colours has been developed by international colour expert agency, Peclers. An array of hues, inspired by travel, have been curated to stimulate the imagination: calm and cosy colourways associated with Scandinavian boutique hotels; sumptuous shades reflected in Tuscan pastry shop windows; bold accents borrowed from the meandering alleyways of an Indian tea market; elegant tones capturing the corners of a Savile Row tailor shop.
Equally compelling are the innovative patterns and shapes in the iD Mixonomi collection, presenting designers with an irresistible opportunity to experiment with the art of mixing and matching to create unique designs. Subtle patterns and shapes can be effortlessly combined – from simple mono shape layouts, to multiple shapes and colour formats – all working perfectly with Tarketts existing iD Inspiration standard plank and tile shapes.
To further inspire striking floor designs Tarkett has created an online library of patterns and layouts for iD Mixonomi, along with a configurator and digital visualiser - which is being launched shortly at www.idmixonomi.tarkett.com - to help designers create dynamic pattern and colour combinations.

Tarkett is hosting a number of activities on the booth over the five days at Euroshop and invites visitors to meet the designers behind the new collection, as well team members from 5.5 Design Studio and Peclers. VIP receptions are taking place and on 6 and 7th March at 17.00 to 18.00 hours.
More information on iD Mixonomi, along with other LVT designs, is also available on the booth, including full details on the functional benefits of the collections: low VOCs - contributing to better indoor air quality; manufactured using phthalate free technology; TOPCLEAN XP™ PUR reinforcement – a tough, hardwearing surface which reduces the need for water, energy and chemical detergents for the life of the product. The collection will be available in September 2017.
