EuroExpo: "Who is Who" international who’s who of stand construction, design and events

One of the four EuroShop segments, EuroExpo, addresses the topics of stand construction, design and events. It’s here that innovative scenarios capable of reinvigorating live communications for companies, brands and products will be showcased. This year, EuroExpo will feature 240 international exhibitors spread across more than 11,000 square metres (Halls 9 and 10). With the backing of the Verband Direkte Wirtschaftskommunikation e.V. (German direct business communications association – FAMAB) and the International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES), EuroExpo has become the meeting point for the world’s retail, industrial and service sector communications specialists.

One of the special highlights at EuroShop 2008 promises to be the EuroShop Forum Architecture & Design in Hall 10, which will dedicate a whole day exclusively to EuroExpo topics. On Tuesday, 26 February between 11 am and 5 pm, publishers m + a Verlag have put together a lineup of eleven different talks covering, among other things, the common ground between stand construction and retail architecture. This means they will be equally of interest to those active in shop fitting as stand construction companies. All of the talks will be simultaneously interpreted in German/English. The individual topics are listed below:

“The show stand: an integral part of company culture”

“On the art of getting rooms to talk”

“Expo Zaragossa 2008”

“Corporate architecture”

“The influence of materials used on the image”

“The interplay of colour, light and space”

“Furniture – an integral part of the design system”

“Confined spaces – using content and intelligent communication to get the message across”

“What shopfitters and exhibitors can learn from exhibition designers”

“High profile newcomers”

“Safety in event engineering”

What’s more, it’s not just food for thought that the EuroExpo segment will be offering. TheLeading Event Caterer Association (LECA) is inviting EuroExpo exhibitors and visitors to a “happy hour” at the FAMAB stand, Hall 09/G 59, every afternoon from 5 pm. All are welcome to bring the trade fair day to a close at the FAMAB stand while enjoying light snacks, chilled drinks and stimulating conversation.
